Return and Refund Policy

Lodestar GmbH (trading as "Lodestar TCG", "we", "us") wants you to buy with confidence. This policy explains your statutory rights and how to exercise them. Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer-protection right you have under the law of your country of residence.

1. EU/EEA customers — 14-day right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or EEA, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

• The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day on which you (or a third party you name, other than the carrier) take physical possession of the goods. For an order of multiple items delivered separately, the period runs from receipt of the last item.
• To exercise the right, tell us your decision by a clear statement — by email at contact@lodestarsystems.ch, or using the model withdrawal form at the end of this policy. You may use the "Cancel my contract" function on our website. Using the model form is optional.
• To meet the deadline, it is enough that you send your communication about exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effect of withdrawal. We will reimburse all payments received from you, including the standard delivery cost of the original outbound shipment (we do not refund any extra cost if you chose a more expensive delivery method than our cheapest standard option). We make the reimbursement using the same means of payment you used for the initial transaction, and you will not incur any fees for the reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied proof of having sent the goods back, whichever is earliest.

Opened product is still returnable. Because these are sealed collectible trading-card products — not health or hygiene goods — the health/hygiene sealing exemption does not apply. You may withdraw even if the box or display has been opened. However, you are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Where a sealed collectible has been opened, its resale value as a sealed item is lost; we may therefore deduct a corresponding amount from your reimbursement to reflect that loss of value.

Returning the goods. You must send the goods back without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of notifying us of your withdrawal. You bear the direct cost of return shipping unless the product was defective or we sent you the wrong item (see Section 3). We recommend a tracked service; the risk of loss in return transit is yours until we receive the goods.

This right of withdrawal applies to all products, including items bought on sale or at a discount.

2. Switzerland customers — voluntary 14-day return

Swiss law does not provide a statutory right of withdrawal for distance sales. As a goodwill gesture, we offer Swiss consumers a voluntary 14-day return on the same terms as the EU right of withdrawal above (including that opened product may be returned subject to a deduction for lost value, and that return shipping is at your cost unless the product was defective or incorrect). This voluntary policy does not affect your mandatory rights under Swiss law, including warranty rights for defects.

3. Defective or incorrect items

If an item arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, contact us at contact@lodestarsystems.ch within a reasonable time of discovery. We will arrange return at our cost and, at your choice and where available, send a replacement or issue a full refund including all shipping costs. Your statutory warranty rights are unaffected by this policy.

4. Pre-orders

For pre-ordered product:

• Payment is taken in full at checkout.
• You may cancel free of charge at any time before the item ships, for a full refund.
• If a supplier allocation is cut and we cannot fulfil your pre-order, we will refund you in full.
• If the manufacturer's release is delayed by more than 60 days beyond the expected release date shown at the time of your order, you may cancel for a full refund.
• Your 14-day EU right of withdrawal (Section 1) begins on delivery of the product, as normal.

5. How refunds are issued

Approved refunds are made to your original payment method within 14 days of the day we are informed of your decision to withdraw or return, subject to our right to withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods back or you provide proof of postage (Section 1).
