Every box arrives factory-sealed, or we make it right

The biggest worry when you buy sealed One Piece is a simple one: has the box been opened, searched, and shrink-wrapped again? Here is exactly how we handle that, step by step, with nothing left vague.

Everything we sell is factory-sealed. That means the shrink-wrap and the seal were applied by the manufacturer, not by us and not by a middle hand. We do not open sealed product, we do not sort it, and we do not reseal anything. A box that has been opened is no longer factory-sealed, and we will not present it as such.

Our chain of custody

  • Sourced through official Bandai distribution We buy from authorised Bandai distributors, not from private resellers or auction lots. This is the single most important step, because a clean supply line is what keeps counterfeit and pre-opened product out from the start.
  • Checked on arrival, without breaking the seal When stock reaches us we check the outer condition of each case and display: intact shrink-wrap, undamaged flaps, correct set markings. We inspect from the outside. We never open a sealed item to look inside.
  • Stored sealed in our care Product is kept sealed and boxed in our own storage until you order it. It is not put on open shelves, handled by the public, or moved between venues.
  • Packed sealed, shipped with care Your item leaves us in the same sealed state, protected for transit, and ships with Swiss Post. What we pack is what you open.

What we promise, and what we do not

  • We promise that what we describe as factory-sealed is exactly that: sealed by the manufacturer, sourced through official distribution, and never opened or resealed by us.
  • We promise to store it sealed until it ships, and to pack it so the seal reaches you intact.
  • We do not promise to guarantee the contents of a sealed box, because we never open it. The pull rates inside are set by Bandai and are the same for every buyer. Sealed product is sold as a sealed collectible, not as a specific card.
  • We do not stage weighed, searched, or "mapped" boxes. If that ever changed we would say so plainly on the product page.

If a seal arrives damaged

Transit is not perfect. If your parcel arrives with crushed corners, torn shrink-wrap, or a seal that looks disturbed, we want to hear about it. Here is what to do.

  1. Tell us within 48 hours of delivery Email contact@lodestarsystems.ch with your order number and a few clear photos of the outer packaging and the seal. Photos taken before you unwrap anything help us most.
  2. We review and respond We look at your photos against how the item left us. We aim to reply within two working days.
  3. We replace or refund If a seal was damaged in transit, we replace the item where stock allows, or refund it in full to your original payment method. We cover the return shipping in that case.

This sits alongside your statutory rights. Customers in the EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU, and we extend the same 14-day window to Swiss customers as a goodwill policy. Full terms are on our Shipping and returns page.

Common questions

How do I know the box was not opened and resealed?

Two things protect you. First, our supply line: we buy through authorised Bandai distribution, so product reaches us sealed and unsearched. Second, our handling: we never open sealed items, so there is no point at which a box passes through our hands opened. If you ever receive an item whose seal looks wrong, contact us with photos and we will make it right.

Do you weigh or search boxes for good cards?

No. We do not weigh, search, or map boxes, and we do not sell "resealed" product. Every sealed item is offered exactly as it came from the manufacturer.

Can you guarantee which cards are inside?

No, and no honest seller can. The cards inside a sealed box are determined by Bandai's own pull rates, which are the same for everyone. A sealed box is sold as a sealed box.

Are you an official Bandai store?

No. Lodestar TCG is an independent retailer. We source through authorised Bandai distributors, but we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Bandai.
